Privacy
The commitments below are already built into the database schema, not promises to be implemented later.
The short version
- We do not store chat messages. They exist briefly in memory so a report filed shortly afterwards has evidence, then they are gone.
- Your email address and date of birth are encrypted in our database, not stored in plain text.
- Passwords are hashed with Argon2id. We never see them.
- We do not sell your data and we do not run third-party advertising.
- We never collect precise location. The browser capability is disabled outright.
- Profiles are private by default and direct messages are off by default.
Your rights
You will be able to export your data and delete your account yourself, from your settings. Deletion completes within 30 days. Exercising these rights costs nothing and we do not treat you differently for it.
What we keep permanently
Records of in-game economy activity and moderation actions are kept indefinitely. A game economy without complete history cannot recover from a duplication bug, and a ban that disappears when the banned account is deleted is not a ban. Once your account is deleted, those records identify you only by a synthetic identifier that cannot be linked back to you.
Cookies
Only the ones the service needs: keeping you signed in and protecting against cross-site request forgery. No advertising cookies. If we ever add analytics that are not strictly necessary, we will ask first, and the site will work identically if you decline.
